Programs & Priorities.

The MUSD Board of Trustees and school administration determine instruction in our schools; that is, what will be taught, who will teach it and how it will be delivered at each school. The goal of the NOW Education Foundation is to provide additional funding to support or enhance that instruction at all 3 school sites.

The NOW Education Foundation Board determines which programs to fund by collaborating with MUSD administration and staff and ensuring that funded programs support our mission and current adopted priorities which were updated in 2018:


Funded Programs

Mammoth Schools NOW Education Foundation has funded programs in which the foundation have contributed towards:

Flexible Learning Pathways

  • Expansion and continued support of the Flexible Learning Center (grades 6-12)

STEM Programs

  • Partially funding the District Educational Technology & Assessment Specialist
  • New computer lab at Mammoth Middle School
  • STEM classes for grades 3-5 at Mammoth Elementary School

World Language and Biliteracy

  • Middlebury College Online Curriculum at Mammoth Middle School

The Arts

  • Music teacher at all 3 school sites

College and Career Exploration

  • Supporting Career Tech Educational programs at Mammoth High School
  • Expanded Technology Innovation and Integration Course at Mammoth High School
